Cheesy Bacon Cheeseburger Tater Tot Casserole

Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cheddar cheese soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 6 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a 9×13-inch casserole dish by lightly greasing it.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart as it browns. Once the beef is browned, add the diced onion and cook for another 3-4 minutes until softened. Season with salt, pepper, and the ranch seasoning mix. Stir to combine.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cheddar cheese soup with a small amount of water to loosen it up. Once smooth, stir in half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Stir until the mixture becomes creamy and gooey.
- Assemble the casserole: Spread the cooked beef and onion mixture evenly in the bottom of the prepared casserole dish. Layer the frozen tater tots on top of the beef.
- Add the cheesy topping: Pour the cheese soup mixture evenly over the tater tots. Top with the remaining shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden and crispy and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
- Once out of the oven, sprinkle with crumbled bacon for the finishing touch. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy!
